Crayons visits the Bakery in Spar, Rosemead Avenue
We were introduced to Stephen. Stephen is in charge of the Bakery section at Spar, Rosemead Avenue
Stephen showed us the various types of flour as well as flour which our mommies use at home to bake cakes
This is a machine that helps the baker a lot. This machine kneads the dough very fast
Thes are the ovens where the breads and cakes are baked
Uncle Stephen showed us the bread just before it goes into the oven
Then we followed Uncle Stephen into the huge fridge. The fridge was so big that we all managed to fit inside
We were each given a piece of dough so that we could feel the texture and roll the dough in our hands
We made all sorts of shapes with our pieces of dough
Then we placed the pieces of dough onto the baking tray and it was placed into the oven
We were also given the opportunity to syrup the doughnuts. This was fun as the doughnuts kept bobbing on the syrup as we pushed them deep into the bowkl of syrup
After they were syruped, we then rolled them in coconut and placed them on a tray.
Just before we left, Uncle Stephen gave us each a box with a juice, packet of chips, one syruped doughnut and one doughnut with coconut. This was a pleasent surprise
